Jungle Kids for Christ is located in the touristic jungle town of Misahualli (Mee-sah-wah-YEE) located 220 kilometers (136 miles) east of Quito. This small port town is located at the junction of the Napo and Misahuallí rivers and provides river access to many remote jungle villages.

Tena is the closest city (about 25 minute drive) with a population of approximately 20,000 people. In Tena you will find grocery stores, medical facilities, government buildings, hardware stores, restaurants, and more.

 

The town of Baños, one of Ecuador's most visited tourist cites, is only 3 hours away.
